Why We Don’t Use Additives & What They Are In Other Candles

Most candles are made with additional acids, inhibitors, stabilizers, and/or colorants that chemically preserve or change the wax.  While that may sound interesting, it is likely not your best option when looking for a cleaner burning candle.  Most candle additives like stabilizers, inhibitors, colorants, UV protectants, etc., are made from various chemicals and petroleum based products to artificially preserve or change the candle and will become airborne when lit.  Our goal is to provide the cleanest burning candle on the market, so we have not added any unecessary ingredients.
