Candle Care Instructions, Cleaning, Reuse, & Recycle Tips
Candle Care Instructions
*Remove packaging and lid before burning.
*Only burn in suitable container.
*Burn about 2-4 hours at a time to a full melt pool (to the candle jar sides) and to no more than 1/2 inch of melted wax.
*Keep wick centered and trimmed to 1/4 inch.
*Keep away from flammable items like drapes, clothing, and hair.
*Stop use when 1/2 inch of wax remains to prevent heat damage.
*Keep away from drafts, children, and pets.
*Never use lid to extinguish the flame to prevent damage to lid.
*Use candle snuffer to extinguish flame for optimal scent longevity.
*Keep out of direct sunlight to keep soy wax in optimal condition.
Cleaning Tips
Inevitably you will burn your candle down to 1/2 inch of wax remaining. At this time, your candle can cause heat damage and it is time for your candle to take on another format. In order for this to happen, you will want to properly clean it. Due to the quality of the soy wax, cleaning should be relatively easy.
1 - Remove your scrolls, hemp rope, and outer magnet stone for future use.
2 - We recommend cooling your candle to a solid state. (Pouring liquid wax down your sink drain is not recommended, as it will eventually cool and become solid and it could clog your drain.)
3 - Then, heat some regular tap water so that it is very warm, but NOT SCALDING, and pour approximately an inch of the warm water into your candle jar and let it sit for about 2-5 minutes.
4 - At this point, the remaining wax should be soft, but not liquid. We now recommend putting your candle glassware on a stable, flat surface. Use a long utensil like a chopstick or metal straw or spoon to dig out the remaining wax, starting from the interior jar edge and working your way toward the center. It should be relatively easy to loosen the remaining wax and wick tab from the sides and bottom of the glassware.
5 - Once the remaining wax is loose, you can remove the wax from the water and put it either onto a towel, or in a fine strainer. From here, you will be able to remove your crystal chips from the wax and set them aside for later use. When you have removed your crystal chips you may simply throw away the remaining wax.
6 - Now you can wash your crystal chips in a fine strainer and wash your candle glassware with warm, soapy water. The labels are not made to be permanent, so they should come off fairly easily by scrubbing with warm, soapy water.
7 - You can now use your candle glassware and lid for general storage of Q-tips, cotton balls, your beautiful crystal chips, coins, or any other craft project you like. You can use your outer magnet stone for your fridge, future meditations, or energy boosts throughout your home or office. Remember to keep your scrolls, so you can reference them anytime you may forget about your crystal's metaphysical properties.

Reuse and Recyle Tips
So your candle is done burning and you have the glassware fresh and clean. Now what? It’s time to get creative. Check it out!
The pictures may get your creative ideas flowing. However, the possibilities are endless.
Firstly, your jar is made in the USA as food quality glassware, however, we do not recommend using it for food storage or drinking since there was wax and fragrance oil in it previously, and there may be some residue left in the jar. Let’s get going...
*Use your jar for fresh cut flowers.
*Store cotton balls or Q-tips.
*If you are crafty, make some lighting.
*Sprout some new plants for planting in your yard or a pot.
*Make a glassware terrarium.
*For the less crafty who want lighting, try putting some fairy lights inside.
*Save your change.
*Make some table decorations.
*Share it with a friend.
*Recycle your glassware in the proper recycling area of your local community.
*Have fun with your new ideas!
